Isn't it funny how our world works...




after suffering from a Migraine for the last

four days...

I was given instructions on what to do.

Here was one of my suggestions!!

Just wanted to share!!


* Mental imagery relaxation: Mental imagery

relaxation, or guided imagery, is a proven form of

focused relaxation that helps create harmony

between the mind and body. Guided imagery coaches

you in creating calm, peaceful images in your mind

-- a "mental escape." Identify your self-talk, that

is, what you are saying to yourself about what is

going on with your illness. It is important to

identify negative self-talk and develop healthy,

positive self-talk. By making affirmations, you

can counteract negative thoughts and emotions.

Here are some positive statements you can

practice.



* Let go of things I cannot control.

* I am healthy, vital, and strong.

* There is nothing in the world I cannot handle.

* All my needs are met.

* I am completely and utterly safe.

For my mother's day...we decided to help out one of our children...

See, we had a Huge party for my grandmother for her 90th birthday

and one of our children is now living in Michigan with her husband

and our new granddaughter of 3 months with no vehicle.

They are doing what everyone else is doing by working to do

their best to make ends meet. Our son-in-law is one of the

volunteers for the Army Reserve and he is going to training

on the 14th. They have no car and were in a position

of not being able to get to Illinois and back by that date.

This would mean missing grandma's big day!



Well, we just couldn't let that happen. So, we decided

to be their ride home. On Mother's day we packed up the car

and headed for Michigan.



It was wonderful!

The fresh air, the beautiful landscape and the memories we were making.



But, my husband couldn't just

drop them off. No...he decided that since

they had been gone for a week and were

returning without a car to get necessities...

he took them to the grocery store and

let them get their weekly supply of groceries

and than to the mall where our daughter's favorite

Chinese food is served! Then, after we said our "good-byes"

we headed back to Illinois.

But unbeknownst to me...Bill took a detour!

Before I knew it I was standing on the

overlook to Lake Michigan.

With tears swelling up in my eyes and

an overwhelming emotion of abundance I couldn't help but cry!!



What a beautiful site!!

What amazing sounds...the water breaking against the sand and

the sounds of the seagulls!! I didn't want to leave!

Just him and I and God's Glory!!!



What an Amazing Gift for him to give me!!

For those who have known me for the past 3 years

of being here on the internet -

you know the story of how he and I met....

I even wrote a book about it...and now...I have lived it!!

I had to share...mainly because I "know" that so many are

searching for that perfect

person ...their soul mate...and the moment in time that tells them...

"Here is Your Wish!!"

Well, my friends...Yesterday...I got mine...

the trillions of tears that have been waiting

to surface for the right reasons....It is Glorious!!

What is the law of attraction? Simply put, the law of attraction

Now that the  Holidays are over

(for the most part...)



I decided to take

some time for myself

and work on some of

the items in my Journal

that have shown me that I have had

some "issues" in my life that were not

what I "thought" I had desired....

But...these things happened because of

me...



The only reason we

"suffer" is because of

errors in thoughts!

Doubts....Fears....these are errors in thoughts.

So, as I mentioned before

I decided to upload my cd's of

"A HappyPocket Full of Money"

to my new iPod that I

received for Christmas!

And just in

the first 20 minutes

of listening to it...

I am back...

Back to "Focusing"

on my thoughts and words and influences!!

Dang...I feel so much better!!!

I was separated from my first husband in

1997

and not divorced until 1998...

It was a very difficult time in my life having had five

children!

The Holidays were rough because I felt not only my own pain...

But the pain of my

children...

The images of being separated from them and the life

I had come to know was

sad and depressing at times...


I know the feeling of "dropping them off" at places

which

I had been comfortable with only the year before...

I must share that it doesn’t have to HURT!





With the

strength of My Faith

and

the Love of my supportive friends and family...


I

focused on - not my own frustrations...

But the Love that I had for those beautiful

children...
